Technical Regulations
The Technical & Sporting Regulations define how a RAW SR must be built, prepared, and run to compete in official RAW Race Series events. The PDF below is the authoritative version for the current season. Where anything on this page and the document disagree, the document wins.
Older versions are available on the forum.

How the document is organized
Section titled “How the document is organized”The regulations are grouped by system: eligibility and inspection, weights and setup, brakes, springs, fuel, gearing, data and electronics, tires, safety equipment, and the procedures that govern parc fermé, protests, and car or tire replacement. If you are preparing a car for your first event, start with Sections 1–3 and Section 15 (safety equipment), then read the systems you plan to work on.
What changed this year
Section titled “What changed this year”The change history lives at the back of the PDF, and it is the place to look before each season and after every new version is posted. Keeping it inside the document means the rules and their history never drift apart.
Two sections cover it. Changes From 2025 records everything that moved between last year’s rules and the first 2026 release. Version Changelog tracks the smaller updates made across the 2026 season, most recent first, so you can see exactly what is different from the last version you read.
At a high level, the 2026 rules tightened setup and specification: a maximum camber and a minimum ride height were introduced, minimum weight rose 25 lbs, brakes and springs became RAW-supplied only, the fuel spec narrowed to 91–94 pump gas, and several items that were optional in 2025 (arm restraints, camber plate, case saver, clutch switch) are now mandatory. The exact section numbers and figures are in the document.
Read the full change history before every event, and note the 2027 mandates flagged in Section 15 (trident rollbar, behind-seat fuel tank, and an FIA 8860/8059 ABP helmet) so you can plan those upgrades ahead of time.
